WhipPoorWill Resort Cabins near Broken Bow, Oklahoma feature quaint, authentic log cabins. We have cabins ranging from our romantic honeymoon cabins to our two- and three-bedroom cabins. And for the economy minded, we have one-room efficiency cabins as well. Many of our cabins have recently been remodeled or refurbished.

The WhipPoorWill has 17 cabins all conveniently located on 15 heavily wooded acres in the Hochatown area to accommodate couples, families and large groups. We have easy access and ample parking for Boats and ATV trailers.

When you stay at the WhipPoorWill you get more than just a cabin. We have two private fishing ponds for our guests, a children’s playground area, horseshoe pits, a basketball goal, volleyball net, and plenty of acreage for relaxing, exploring or gathering with friends and family.

Spend your days fishing in the pond, relaxing on your front porch or in the gazebo, or watching the birds, squirrels and other wildlife play. And don’t forget a visit to our Fudge Factory & Sweet Shoppe! You can complete your day at the WhipPoorWill with an evening around the campfire (don’t forget the smores) or stargazing without city lights, accompanied by a frog serenade.

When you need more adventure, the WhipPoorWill Cabins are near Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. We are located 12 miles north of Broken Bow on Highway 259, across from the entrance to Cedar Creek Golf Course. We are just 5 to 10 minutes away from all of the activities at the Beavers Bend Resort Park, Hochatown State Park at Broken Bow Lake, fly fishing and canoeing on the Lower Mountain Fork River, and the Ouachita National Forest. For scenic beauty, we are located south of the Talimena National Scenic Byway.

We are John and Cathy Cooney – on-site owners and operators. We are here for our customers from check-in to check-out to help with questions or problems that may arise, or just a friendly smile and information to help you navigate the area. We take pride in our work and our product. We don’t pay fancy agency fees or management companies to “manage” our cabins – we think we do a better job ourselves. We are able to pass the savings on to our customers – so don’t let our prices fool you!
